From: Kyumin Lee

With sadness I write this report. I have been following the directives from various health organizations around the world regarding communal singing. I also have spoken with numerous choral directors locally and abroad. Music is such a vital component of any church service. It has the power to bring people together and spread much love and joy in our hearts. However, as we prepare to open our doors for in-church participation, my heart is heavy. Many choral communities are in despair learning of this potential spread of the virus while singing. Our congregation’s health and safety is the utmost priority. So for now, there will be no singing in church. Pews will be empty of hymnals. Paula and I are working closely together to find a creative way to provide meaningful service with music.
Please stay tuned. Sending blessing to you all, Kyumin
